What Does 'Kainos' Mean?

Kainos is a Greek word that appears in Revelation 21:5 — “Behold, I am making all things new.” It’s the word for a qualitatively new kind of thing. Not just repaired. Not just improved. New.
That’s what we believe therapy can offer. Not just symptom management. Not just coping strategies. But genuine, lasting change — the kind that touches who you are, not just what you do.
We started Kainos because we believe that the best therapy and authentic Christian faith don’t compete. They reinforce each other. Good therapy takes seriously the whole person — body, mind, and soul. Christian faith has always done the same.
