When you submit a contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide (name, email, phone, message). This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute this information to third parties.
Analytics — No Cookies, No Personal Data
We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count page views on this site. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not collect any personal information. We see aggregate counts (for example, "the homepage was viewed 120 times this week") and nothing that could identify you as an individual.
Because no personal data or cookies are involved, you do not need to accept or decline anything to browse this site — there is no tracking to opt out of.
Confidentiality and HIPAA
Kainos Christian Therapy is a licensed mental health practice. Any information shared during therapy sessions or through our client portal is protected under HIPAA and California confidentiality laws. Please note that the contact form on this public website is not a HIPAA-secure channel. Do not submit sensitive health information through the contact form. To discuss anything sensitive, please contact us through our client portal or by phone.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information a business collects about them, the right to request deletion of personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising or any other purpose. The only personal information we ever collect on this site is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form. Third-Party Services
We use SimplePractice / ClientSecure for appointment scheduling. When you visit our client portal, you are subject to their privacy policy. We use Netlify to host this website. When you submit a form, your data is processed by Netlify. We use GoatCounter (described above) for cookie-less, anonymous traffic counts.
